TSW and TSW2 Wheel Settings For NR2003
In-Game Calibration and Setup
First thing to be aware of with Papyrus sims is that you don't need to calibrate your controller in Windows prior to setting it up in their games. Knowing this can be a time saver if you're one who calibrates often. Just plug your wheel in and go right into the game.
If this is your first time with the new wheel you will probably be taken directly to the calibration screen. If not, click on Options, click on Controls tab, then make sure the Direct Input Driver is highlighted and click the Calibration button.
In the Calibration screen turn your wheel fully left and right and press all pedals. You should see movement on each axis corresponding to your control input.
Click on Options, then Controls Mark Direct Input Driver, then Click Calibrate Turn Wheel and Press all Pedals, Click OK
Don't worry if some of the axis say unassigned, as we have yet to assign them.
When calibrating the key thing to watch for is that your gas pedal and brake axes go all the way to 1,000 on the Calib Number above their corresponding calibration axis when you press the pedal down. If they don't, try exiting the calibration screen and then coming back to recalibrate. When you've finished moving your wheel and pedals, click on OK at the bottom.

Click on each Control, the Activate Wheel/Pedal Mark Sequential Click on Shift Up/Down, then Press Shifter or Button
Now you need to assign your control inputs. In the upper right side of the screen locate the Control Assignments section. Go through each of the control functions down the list by first checking on them with your mouse, then by moving your wheel, pressing your pedal, or a button as appropriate.
Now we need to set some options. On the Gearbox, mark the Sequential option , then assign your shift up and shift down functions to your inline shifter or if you prefer to a paddle shifter or buttons on your wheel.
Set the driving aids to your preference, but we recommend using as little driving assistance as possible since most racing leagues will not allow these, and you'll never get better if you let the game do all the work. You may want to stay with automatic clutch because without it, the car will spin out more easily when downshifting if you do not double clutch.

Choose Desired Driving Aids Click on ADVANCED
Now go into the Advanced screen by clicking the Advanced button in the upper right next to Control Assignments. Make certain all of the Input momentum options are at 0%. These options are meant to be used with the keyboard or a gamepad, not with a wheel. Having these turned up will cause a lag in the reaction of the wheel or pedals making it all but impossible to make quick corrections.
Use steering assistance at your own discretion, but we recommend none for the same reason as the other driving aids, most leagues will not allow it, and it can be a crutch that might keep you from becoming a top driver if you become too reliant on it.
Input Momentums, Steering Assistance should be at 0% and Steering Linearity should be at 100%
Steering Linearity should be at 100%. You can experiment with lower settings to suit your driving style, but don't go much below 80% as you will begin to introduce a dead zone into the steering. If you find 100% linearity to be over sensitive, try raising the steering ratio in your individual setups as high as the track will allow.
Lastly, because we recommend using high steering ratios, you will need to make the "increase steering lock at low speeds" option. This will allow you to get out of a tight pit box.
That's it, click on OK when you're finished and go race!
